Thomaston- Miss Lillian Frieda Petke, 83, of Sanford Ave. died Sunday, September 23 at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury. Miss Petke was born January 23, 1924 in Thomaston daughter of the late Edward and Frieda (Schumacher) Petke. She had retired form the Torrington Co., was a member of the Liederkranz Womens Society and was a member of St. Peters Trinity Episcopal Church in Thomaston. She is survived by one sister, Ann Sernac of Montvale, NJ and several nephews and nieces including, William and Barbara Petke, Margaret, Robert, Elizabeth, Marie, Andy, David, Kenneth and Richard. She was predeceased by three brothers, William, Fred and Henry and one sister, Elsie. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peters Trinity Episcopal Church, Thomaston. Burial is in Hillside Cemetery.
