Thomaston - Linda A. Barry, 65, died on Friday, March 1, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. Linda was born September 25, 1947 in Fairfield, daughter of the late James V. and Fernande (Turcotte) Barry. She was an active member and fundraiser of St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. She is survived by two sons, Ronald M. Plourde of Thomaston and Michael Scharfstein of Wallingford; two daughters, Donna M. Sioch of Cape Coral, FL and Dawnmarie Hughes of Thomaston; one sister, Barbara Wilchinski of Oxford; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 5, at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 4, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will be private.
