Thomaston Linda M. Lavway, 61, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019. She was the wife of Ricky L. Lavway for 23 years. Linda was born in Hartford on June 22, 1958 to Louis Barile and the late Joyce (Barrows) Barile. She worked for PM Engineering in Watertown. She enjoyed arts and crafts; and going to Daytona Beach to watch Nascar, and root for her favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson. She also loved her dogs, Abby and Lacey dearly. Including her husband, Ricky, Linda is survived by her son, Robbie Spencer, and his wife, Jennifer; her father, Louis Barile; her grandchildren, Karissa, and Kai; her siblings, Michael Barile, of Waterbury; Jeff Barile, of Plantsville; Tracy Osher, of Plantsville; and Laura Barile, Howe, OK; her step siblings, Kevin and Jennifer Lavway, of Spokane WA, and their daughter, Abby; Kenny and Amber Lavway, and their children, Kyle, Skyler, Sarah, and Victoria, of Asheboro NC; Amy and Josh Bice, of Thomasville, NC, and their children, Savannah, and Lucas; and Christopher and Jessica Lavway, of Trinity, NC, and their children, Alex, and Ben. A calling hour will be held on Monday, October 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston. A funeral home service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
