Torrington Lori J. (Smith) McCann, 61, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Lori was born in Waterbury on February 13, 1957 to the late Harrold N. and Augustina E. (Alberone) Smith. She was an ancestor of the founders of Milford. Lori had a big heart and always helped people in any way she could. Lori is survived by her son, Donald Gordon McCann IV; her 4 daughters, Crystal Marie Kirk, and her companion, Henry L. Lindsey, of Fort Myers, FL; Laura Lee Kirk; Kristy Jean McCann; and Stephanie Lynn McCann, all of Middletown; her brothers, Harrold N. Smith, Jr., of Torrington; and Charles D. Smith, of Northfield; her grandchildren, Raven Marie Joyce; Jayde Nicole; Phoenix Lynn; Arianna Rose; Daniel Frank; and Lily Rowan; her devoted companion, Ron; 3 nieces; and extended family. A graveside service will be held in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston, in the Spring.
