Thomaston- Mrs. Lorraine June (Schmidt) Bowden, 67, died Monday, December 17 at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of Jim Bowden.
Mrs. Bowden was born June 5, 1940 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Conrad and Louise Schmidt. Raised in Waterbury she attended local schools and was a graduate of Crosby High School. She had formerly been employed at Seth Thomas Clock in Thomaston and was currently employed at LARC, were she was a patient aide and drove the bus.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, James C. Bowden and his wife Nancy of Thomaston; one sister, Louise Clark of Watertown; two grandchildren, James J. Bowden and Laura B. Bowden and her beloved dog, Pepper Ann. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church in Thomaston. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
