Lorraine Marie Ogren Thomaston - Lorraine M. (Bradshaw) Ogren, 65, of High Street Ext., died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife to Nils Ogren Sr. for 38 Years. Mrs. Ogren was born on April 16, 1944 in Waterbury, to the late James and Elizabeth (Mgrath) Bradshaw. She was a Thomaston resident for 37 years and was last employed at Cook Willow Convalescent Home of Plymouth as a CNA. Lorraine had enjoyed reading, going to fairs, cooking for family gatherings and spending time with the neighborhood kids who came to visit. She had a love for watching her grandchildren, taking care of her patients at work and her cats Yodi and Oleo. Lorraine was a true caretaker. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Bezio of Torrington, Krista Ogren of Thomaston, a son, Nils Ogren Jr. of Wallingford, a sister Elizabeth Bennett of North Carolina, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Cyr and a brother, James Bradshaw Jr. Arrangements: Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 23, directly at St. Thomas Church at 10:00A.M. Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston, has care of the arrangements.
