Obituary

Margaret "Peggy" Boucher passed away November 3rd of 2024 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in New Britian CT after a long battle with dementia. On 9/28/1941 she was born in Waterbury, the youngest daughter of 12 siblings to Alma (Perreault) and Leon Boucher. She also lived for many years in Watertown, Thomaston and in Plymouth with her niece Sue. (Suzanne Babcock Latimer) Peggy retired from Timex after many dedicated years of service. She especially took great delight in music, including listening to her favorite singer Johnny Cash whom she still remembered every word and sang along to all of his songs. The family would like to thank her dedicated caregiver of many years, Darlene Quineville Hancock. While Peggy was living with her niece, Darlene was very devoted to not just helping to take care of Peggys needs but provided her with so much daily joy. Not by saying but by acting in the belief of sacrificing for family, in 1958 after her sister Doris gave birth to daughter Suzanne, Peggy quit school to help raise her. Peggy is predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters of the greatest generation. Siblings: Robert Boucher, Leon Boucher, Raymond Boucher, Maurice Boucher, Larry Boucher, Normand Boucher, Emil Boucher, Infant brother Walter Boucher, Shirley Boucher Iacoviello, Carol Boucher Poynton Wiltshire, Doris Boucher. May you have a glorious reuniting with them all and may you shine in the warmth and love of the glory of God! Services Private Services
