Northfield - Margaret S (Peg) Losee, of Northfield, passed away on January 26, 2018 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Margaret was born at Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury on December 9, 1933. Her Parents were John Thomas Sharp and Ellen Sullivan. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Fred B. Losee; her daughter Leeann Losee; her grandson Patrick Bethel; and Son-in-law Brian Bethel. She was Predeceased by her brothers Harold Reed, Edward Reed , and John Sharp Jr; her sister Helen Duffney; and niece Gae Lewis. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, sisters in law and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Margaret was a graduate of Litchfield High School and a former Teller Supervisor at Colonial Bank. She was also member of the Womens Literary Club of Northfield and an active volunteer at the Gilbert Library Northfield. She a member of the Prospect and Litchfield senior centers, and was immensely proud of her Irish heritage. Family and friends may call on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held in the spring in Northfield Cemetery.
