Thomaston- Mrs. Margaret P. (Anderson) MacDonald, 83, of Walnut Hill Rd. died Tuesday, May 6 at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Harold A. MacDonald. Mrs. MacDonald was born November 24, 1924 in Oxbow, Maine daughter of the late Hugh and Lena (Pelkey) Anderson. Raised in Maine she moved to Thomaston in 1964 and retired from the Torrington Company. She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Maine. She is survived by two daughters, Louise Turner of Thomaston and Linda Knox of Northfield; three sisters, Gertrude Christie of Presque Isle, Maine, Bernice Greenlaw of Caribou, ME and Velma Sherman of Port Charlotte, FL; 7 grandchildren, Debbie Lipeika, Randy Graham, Steven Turner, Jr, Susan Andros, Shaun Knox, Shane Knox and Shelly Steves and 14 great grandchildren. Arrangements: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will be in Maine.
