Marion Edith Lavigne, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016. She was born in Waterbury, CT on July 13, 1929 to the late Herbert and Grace Helen (Suckley) Nield. Marion is survived by her daughter, Jean Upton, of Brooksville, FL; her sister, Grace "Bonnie" Grabowski, of Spring Hill, FL; her grandson, Jay Upton and longtime partner, Kate Desmond, of Goshen; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and one cousin. She was predeceased by her grandson, Nate Upton. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marions life on Wednesday, July 20 at 5 p.m. at the Covenant Church, 64 Grove Street, Thomaston.
