Watertown – Marshall T. Roman, 81, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. He was the loving husband of Darlene (VanBuren) Roman for 50 years.
Marshall was born in Waterbury on December 13, 1944, son of Dominick and Jennie (Rogozinski) Roman. He was a graduate of Thomaston High School and The Hartford Institute of Accounting with an associate’s degree. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Siemon Company for a few years and General Motors for over 30 years. He will always be remembered for his love and dedication to his family.
He was an avid fan of UConn Men’s Basketball; loved collecting antiques, especially oil lamps, postcards, comics, and pictures. He was also an animal lover, especially his fur babies, Tiggy and Poo.
To carry on his legacy is his wife, Darlene Roman; his daughter, Kelly Ann Roman; his grandchildren, Latrell Roman and Brianna Roman; and several nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, Marshall was predeceased by his siblings, Myron Roman and Florence Stiklius.
A service will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m. at The First Congregational Church, 135 Main St., Thomaston. Please meet directly at church. Burial will be held in the Spring.
