Obituary

Watertown- Mrs. Martha (Zemaitatis) Livingstone, 88, died Sunday, January 2, at the Bucks Hill Rehabilitation Center in Waterbury. She was the widow of James L. Livingstone. Mrs. Livingstone was born August 30, 1922 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Frank L. and Martha Zemaitatis. She had been employed for many years at the former Sanford Rest Home in Thomaston and had worked at the Seth Thomas Clock Co. and Whyco Chromium. She enjoyed traveling and sewing. She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Gilbert and Elizabeth Barrows both of Waterbury; one sister, Frances Baltimore of Rocky Hill; three grandchildren, Stephen, Kathleen and Christine; one great-grandson, James Michael Troutman and several nieces and nephews including, Lorraine Baltimore and Anthony Baltimore. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Edward Zemaitatis and one sister, Estelle Tolisano. Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 6, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Collinsville. Family and friends may call at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston from 9:00 A.M. until time to leave for mass at 9:45 A.M.
