Thomaston Martha J. Peterson-Chamberlin, 35, of Thomaston, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. Martha was born on October 6, 1983 in Bristol, daughter of Cecile (Roberts) Grenier and the late Joseph Peterson. Martha enjoyed music, singing, the beach, and cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving children. Besides her mother, Martha is survived by her daughter, Alexis Chamberlin; her son Russell Chamberlin, Jr., two sisters Alicia Peterson and Amy Chamberlin; her brother Jacob Peterson; her extended family, Robert and Betty Chamberlin; her stepdad James Grenier; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, a savings account will be set up to help Marthas children, Alexis and Russell in the future.
