Terryville- Michael Jay Butler Jr., of Eagle Street, died Saturday, November 24, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was a companion to Thomas Thibeault. Michael was born on January 31, 1971 to Michael J. and Carolyn (Dornfried) Butler Sr. of Thomaston. He graduated in 1990 from Thomaston H.S. He worked as a school bus driver for the City of Farmington and will always be remembered for dancing at the Cadillac Ranch, watching movies and collecting Bryer Horses. He truly enjoyed playing Santa and the Easter Bunny for the holidays. Besides his parents and companion, he is survived by three brothers; Gary of Thomaston, Bruce of Waterbury, Joseph of Forestville, a sister; Rebecca Carr of Morris, paternal grandmother; Geraldine L. (Riphenburg) Butler of Thomaston, a niece, five nephews and many aunts and uncles. He was pre-deceased by his, paternal grandfather, Russell Butler and maternal grandparents, Alfred and Virginia (Hartford) Dornfried. ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston, CT. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in West Cemetery in Plymouth.
