Thomaston- Mr. Allan E. Carr, 77, died Sunday evening, November 21, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Doris M. (Boyle) Carr. Mr. Carr was born October 23, 1933 in Littleton, Maine son of the late Carroll C. and Christina (Ivey) Carr. He had retired form the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. An Army veteran, he had served honorably in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Clifford French Post # 22 in Thomaston. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sisters, Mildred Corey of Littleton, ME and Madelyn McAdam of Thomaston and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Edith M. Fournier. Arrangements: All funeral services will be private. Burial in Hillside Cemetery will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Lyons Funeral Home of Thomaston. Memorial contributions my be made to the Thomaston Volunteer Ambulance Co. South Main Street, Thomaston CT 06787.
