Thomaston Allen J. Amorando, 70, passed away on Friday, July 19, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Tanner) Amorando. Allen was born May 6, 1954, in Bridgeport, son of the late Michael and Jean (Provenzano) Amorando. Allen worked many years as a mason bringing natural beauty with old world charm to every creation. An avid numismatist which he shared with his two sons. Strong minded, perfectionist, driven and loved his family. In addition to his wife he leaves two sons, Allen J. Amorando II and his wife Kari of New Milford and Jacob M. Amorando and his significant other Danielle of Woodbury; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Adam and Ava; one brother, Ron Amorando; one sister Judy Deninger and her husband Bill of Terryville and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Michael. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27 at 12:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
