Bantam- Mr. Bruce B. Hathway, 55, formerly of Thomaston, died Thursday, December 19, at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. Bruce was born April 18, 1958 in Waterbury, son of the late Colonel Randall B. and Dorothy (Chapman) Hathway. Bruce was raised in Thomaston and attended local schools. He had worked for several years as a machinist. He is survived by one sister, Virginia H. Way of Waterbury; two brothers, Alan W. Hathway of Northfield and Keith C. Hathway of Thomaston and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Randal P. Hathway. Arrangements: Funeral services are private. Burial will be held in the spring in the Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
