Thomaston Carmine S. Rauccio, 69, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was the loving husband of Katherine (Beach) Rauccio. Carmine was born in New Haven on March 16, 1949, to the late Armand and Asunta Rauccio. He graduated from Eli Whitney Technical School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Command Roofing and Siding in Madison for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, fixing things around the house, spending time with the neighbors, and his dog Max. Including his wife, Kathy, Carmine is survived by his 2 sons, Eric Rauccio, and his wife, Melissa; and Kenneth Rauccio, and his wife, Nicole; his daughter, Jessica Folta, and her husband, Greg; his 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Nathan, and Gabriella; his brother, Alphonse Rauccio, and his wife, Nancy; his ex-wife, Eileen Rauccio; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 29 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. A funeral home service will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by Military honors. Burial will be held privately. Carmines family would like to thank Bob Woods and Jim Kaniewski for all of their help and support. Their kindness will always be remembered.
