Thomaston Mr. David N. Martone, 60, passed away on Thursday, February 14, at his home. David was born February 7, 1959 in Waterbury, son of the late Michael E. and Frances M. (Dunn) Martone, Sr. A lifelong resident of Thomaston, David attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School, class of 1977. Dave was a licensed electrician and worked most of his life in construction. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking long walks. He also enjoyed rides in the country and would always make the covered bridge in Cornwall a stop along the way. Dave had a knack for anything with a motor in it, hence his love for all motorsports. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. David is survived by three brothers, his twin brother, Daniel J. Martone of Winsted, James F. Martone and his wife Maria of New Haven and Michael E. Martone, Jr and his wife Kathy of Thomaston; one sister, Patricia A. Aufricht and her husband Eric of St. Louis, MO and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
