Obituary

Thomaston- Mr. Donald C. Fredlund, 75, passed away on Friday, October 16, at the Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of Kristin (Wisniewski) Fredlund. Mr. Fredlund was born December 8, 1939 in Waterbury, son of the late Carl and Ethel (Bunnell) Fredlund. Raised in Thomaston he attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. He had been employed for many years by Seth Thomas Clock Company and their subsequent affiliates. He had been a member of the Thomaston Volunteer Fire Department for 32 years and served as secretary for many years. He was a member of the Covenant Church and the Tres Dias Christian Community. In addition to his wife he is survived by one step-son, D. Robert Trzuskoski, Jr of Bristol; one step-daughter, Anne Collette of San Jose, CA; his sister-in-law, Ruth Fredlund of Lock Port, NY; one nephew; one great-nephew and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Wilbur and sister, Dorothy. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 20, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31, at the Covenant Church of Thomaston at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Dons name to the Covenant Church Memorial Fund 64 Grove St. Thomaston, CT 06787.
