Thomaston Mr. Francis Wayne Volovski, 70, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy (Wagner) Volovski. Wayne was born June 17, 1949 in Waterbury, son of the late Francis E. and Eleanor (Waters) Volovski. He had been employed as a tool and die maker for many years and was a life member of the Thomaston Fish and Game Club. In addition to his wife of 50 years, Wayne is survived by two sons, Michael W. Volovski and his wife Joanne of Harwinton and Monty A. Volovski and his wife Raina of Old Lyme; one sister, Sharon Sullivan and her husband Tom of Red Hook, NY; twin grandsons, Ansel and Faelan; several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, Darby. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6, at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial is private.
