Thomaston- Mr. George D. Brousseau, Jr, 65, died Friday, December 16, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Karen M. (Brown) Brousseau.
Mr. Brousseau was born September 18, 1946 in Waterbury son of Beverly (Brockway) Brousseau of Waterbury and the late George D. Brousseau, Sr. Raised in Waterbury, George attended local schools and was a graduate of Leavenworth High School. He had served honorably in the United States Air Force and had worked as a truck driver for many years prior to his retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the American Legion Clifford French Post # 22 in Thomaston.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by four sons, Chris Brousseau, Mark Brousseau and George D. Brousseau III all of Terryville and Travis Brousseau of Thomaston; one daughter, April Gordillo of Bristol; one step-daughter, Yvonne Zettervall of Bristol; one brother, Tommy Brousseau of Waterbury; one sister, Laura LeBlanc of Waterbury; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 20, at St. Michaels Church in Waterbury at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Monday, December 19, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
