Thomaston Mr. George C. Neddermann, 85, of Thomaston, passed away on April 5, 2018 at the VITAS Innovative Hospice Unit at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of 60 years to Mrs. Beverley (Dick) Neddermann. George was born on Nov. 5, 1932 in Waterbury, son of the late George J. and Marion (Botsford) Neddermann. He was the owner of Neddermanns Florist in Thomaston, CT for more than thirty years and served in the military police during the Korean conflict. In his retirement, he enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod and working outside, and could always be counted on to laugh at his own jokes. Besides his wife, Beverley, George is survived by his son, Todd Neddermann and his wife Gina and their children Mitchell and Claudia Neddermann; and his daughter, Sherrie Fitzpatrick and her children, Kathryn and Sean Fitzpatrick. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karlene Kay Decarlo; and his sister Barbara Jayson. The family would like to thank the staff at VITAS for their kindness and compassion in caring for George.
