Thomaston - Gerald William Grohoski, 70 passed away Wednesday, August 3, at his home. He was the loving husband of Barbara Worden Grohoski for 49 years. Geraldwasthe son of Josephine Rimcoski Grohoski and Konstanty Grohoski.He had retired as superintendent of the Thomaston Highway Department. Jerry was a long time member of both the Thomaston Fish and Game Club and The Bristol Fish and game club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and sports shooter. He enjoyed the woods of Maine hunting moose, or being by Barbaras side at the ocean. In addition to being survived by his wife, he leaves his daughter, Joanne (Grohoski) Descoteaux, her husband Roger R. Descoteaux, Jr., grandson, Roger R. Descoteaux III and granddaughter, Madeleine Josephine Descoteaux;his sisters, Eleanor Osoweicki, Joan Riely, Sylvia Foley and Carol Perrault and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his son, Gerald William Grohoski, Jr. and brothers Edward, Benedict, Raymond and Theodore.He was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
