Thomaston Mr. Glenford W. LaFountain, 70, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Monday morning, September 30. He was the husband of Janice (Keene) LaFountain. Glenford was born October 6, 1953, in Bridgeport, son of the late Glenford W. Sr. and Marion (Baker) LaFountain. Raised in Bridgeport he attended local schools. He worked as a machinist for many years, ending his career at RBC in Winsted. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Glen M. LaFountain and his husband Stuart Gero of Torrington; one daughter, Lisa Ann Martin and her husband Dale Gruzas of Torrington; three grandchildren, Zachary, Allesia and Eli and one nephew Gary.
