Thomaston - Mr. Guy T. Zeigler, 56, passed away on Saturday, November 28. Guy was born September 6, 1959, in Waterbury, son of the late Frank and Ruth (Weeks) Zeigler. A life-long resident of Thomaston, Guy had worked as a mechanic for the town of Thomaston for many years and also worked as a truck driver for ZEECO Resources as well as a truck driver and fabricator for several other local businesses. He will be remembered for his love of go kart racing, a passion that he enjoyed with his son's, grandsons and many close friends over the years. He is survived by his son, Justin F. Zeigler and his wife Jennifer of Thomaston; his brothers, David Zeigler of Thomaston and Gene Zeigler of SC; his sister, Lee Ann Kingman of Torrington; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jaylee, Jayden, Jarrod Robert and Avery; his friend, Judy Zeigler of Torrington; his life-long friend, Darryl J. Maslak of Thomaston, his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his faithful and beloved cat, Max. He was predeceased by his son, Jarrod Joseph Zeigler, his brother, Frank Zeigler and his sister, Diane Sherman. Arrangements: A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, at 10:00 A.M. in the Northfield Cemetery, Knife Shop Rd., Northfield. There are no calling hours.
