Thomaston, John P. Brouillard, 75, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020. He was the husband of Joyce (Jacques) Brouillard, for 50 years. John was born in Waterbury on November 8, 1944, to the late Antonio and Marie Jeanne (Descoteaux) Brouillard. He enjoyed watching UConn Womens Basketball and NASCAR. John loved his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed attending their school and sporting events. Including his wife, Joyce Brouillard, John leaves behind his daughters, Tracy Decker, and her husband, Larry, of Thomaston; and Susan Root, and her husband, James, of Thomaston; his 5 granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Emily Root; and Kylie, Nicole, and Madison Decker; his siblings, Gerald Brouillard, and his wife, Janice; Guy Brouillard, and his wife, Diane; Sister Giselle Brouillard, DHS; Aurise Brouillard; and Lorraine Butler; and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St., Thomaston. The family would like to thank the nurses at the Harold Leever Center and VITAS at St. Marys Hospital for their excellent care given during Johns illness.
