Easley, SC - Joseph John Fusco Sr., 88, formerly of Thomaston, passed away Wednesday, July 9, at his home. He was the husband of Joan Hartle Fusco.
Born in Waterbury, CT, he was the son of the late Michael and Madeleina Polletta Fusco.
Mr. Fusco was retired from the Carby Manufacturing Co, had served honorably in United States Army during WWII and had been a member of the former Northfield Congregational Church..
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Joseph John Fusco, Jr. and his wife Margaret, William Wilder Fusco, Sr., Donna Cramer Edison and her husband Steve, Deborah Barks and her husband Howard and Joanne Sowinski and her husband Marion; grandchildren, Bethany Barks McArdle, Rebecca Cramer, Ashley Barks Kaso, Nathan Cramer, Jonathan Sowinski, Kathryn Sowinski, William W. Fusco, Jr., Matthew Fusco, Joseph John Fusco, III, Thomas A, Fusco, David W. Fusco and Jane Ellen Fusco; great grandchildren, Elliott McArdle, Samantha Morland, Olivia Sowinski, Benjamin Cramer, Auston Sowinski, Liam Kaso and Holden Kaso; and a brother, Frank Fusco.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Joseph Michael Fusco; two sisters, Rose Clock Fusco and Angelina Fusco; and a brother, Michael Fusco.
Arrangements: A graveside service, followed by military honors, will be held on Saturday, July 11, at 1:00 PM in the Northfield Cemetery.
