Thomaston - Mr. Kenneth Francis Mischou, 66, of Thomaston, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Kenneth was born on July 2, 1949 in Waterbury, son of Mrs. Eugenia (Geletka) Mischou and the late Frederick F. Mischou. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. Kenneth was a scale mechanic and was the president of Connecticut Scale and Service in Thomaston. He was a professional motocross racer and a master diver, working as a Scuba diving instructor for a number of years. Kenneth also loved boating and cooking.
Kenneth is survived by his longtime partner, Lisa Trainer; his daughter, Dawn Mischou-Rollend; his sister, Johanne Berbaum; four grandchildren, Zachary M. Rollend, Bella M. Rollend, Brennan D. Delnickas, and Ryan A. Delnickas; and three nephews, Robert Paul Mischou, Jr., Dion Berbaum, and William Berbaum. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Paul Mischou, Sr.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, Nov 22, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. Burial will be private.
