Morris - Lawrence D. "Larry" Fretts, 77, of Morris, passed away peacefully at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on Monday, September 5, 2016 Larry was born on September 1, 1939, son of the late Ary and Mabel (Lewis) Fretts. He was survived by three daughters, Doreen, Tammy, and Connie Fretts of Litchfield; two sisters, Shirley Drew of Thomaston, and Gloria Rinaldi and her son John Johnson which who he lived; a brother, John Fretts and his wife Cindy of Morris; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Fretts, and two sisters, Mabel Yurashus and Barbara Smith. Family and friends may call on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
