LeRoy Goldsmith, 93 of Thomaston, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, Torrington. He was the husband of Della (Dyer) Goldsmith. Mr. Goldsmith was born in Bristol on June 2, 1917 a son of the late Irving and Alice (Todd) Goldsmith. He was retired as an operator with Draw Metal Tube after 35 years of service. He was also a member of the Thomaston Fish & Game Club. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Diana Goldsmith also of Thomaston. Funeral services and burial in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
