The life of Nils Ernst Ogren, Sr. Nils was born on April 18, 1948 at Waterbury Hospital to the late John and Evelyn Ogren of Cheshire CT. He grew up at 182 Farview Circle in Watertown CT with his late older brother John, Jr. Nils had two late older sisters Georgette and Jackie. Nils graduated from Watertown High School and became an apprentice as a plumber. Nils retired as a plumber in 2010 from G&W, Inc. of Cheshire CT. He is preceded by his wife Lorraine (Bradshaw) of Wolcott, CT. Nils and Lorraine were married on 7/24/1971. Lorraine passed away on 12/16/2009. Nils and Lorriane lived 44 year at 807 High Street, Ext. Thomaston CT where they raised their three children, Jennifer, Krista and Nils, Jr. Nils is survived by his daughter Jennifer Bezio and her husband Charles Bezio of Torrington, two granddaughters Amanda Bezio and Makenzie Bezio of Torrington, grandson Kristafer Manning of Thomaston, granddaughter Sarah Ogren of Haddam CT, his son Nils Ogren , Jr. of Wallingford CT, his granddaughter Madison Ogren of Terryville, the Nelson family, Brenda, Mike, Mike, Jr., Mary, Shana & Cheryl; and the Bezio family, Chris, Krystal, Chris, Jr., Bryce, Dan, Joanne, Kieth, Val & Lenny. Papa Ogren will be missed by the entire Bezio and Nelson families. Papa Ogren was a grandfather figure and very close friend. Nils loved his family and friends, fishing, coin & gun collecting, barques, lottery ticket scratch offs, three stooges, WWE wrestling and his pets.
