Thomaston- Raymond passed Friday September 6 at his home in Thomaston surrounded by loved ones after a valiant battle with brain cancer.
Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend, Confidant, Samaritan, Advocate, Acquaintance
If you were a lucky enough person to be any of the above things to Raymond, you would no doubt agree that your life was richer for it. Ray, Ray-Ray, Ravmond, Honey, Buddy, Dad, not only excelled at these roles, but was a rarity in that he was a truly, genuinely, and deeply good person. Raymond embarked on a career in the mental health field as an LMFT to help people that were less fortunate than he, felt it as his calling, and was truly happy to do so. Over the past few years, he volunteered to work on Christmas Day so parents with young children could spend that magical time together. Why did he do it? Because he could, and it was right. That story alone describes Raymond Paul Nageotte, the man that was and will always be in our hearts.
Raymond is survived by his wife Gaylene, son Jeffrey and his wife Alissa, step-son William and his wife Sara, parents Rene and Joan, sister Sharon, and brothers Robert and Donald.
