South Pasadena, FL- Mr. Richard T. Wallace, 85, formerly of Thomaston, passed away on Monday, June 20 at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. He was the Husband of Elizabeth (Sitkiewicz) Wallace.
Mr. Wallace was born January 15, 1926 in Waterbury son of the late Richard J. and Hazel (Gleason) Wallace. He had served honorably in the United States Army and retired from the State of Connecticut after many years working as the Director of Land Acquisition for the Department of Environmental Protection.
In addition to his wife of 61 years he is survived by two sons, Richard S. Wallace and his wife Veronica of Guilford and John T. Wallace and his wife Jane of Needham, MA and two grandchildren, Catherine M. Wallace and Megan E. Wallace.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, at 10:30 A.M. from the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street, Thomaston, to St. Thomas Church for mass of Christian burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Terryville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Saturday morning.
