Thomaston Siegfried "Ziggy" Keparutis, 79, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was the husband of Patricia (Carrington) Keparutis. Siegfried was born in Germany on July 26, 1941, son of the late Ludwig and Maria (Konig ) Keparutis. He proudly served in the U.S. Army, and worked for Coleco Company, before owning Bayberry Realty with his wife. He enjoyed playing golf; going to the casino, playing cards; tending to his flower gardens; and feeding the squirrels and birds, which he enjoyed watching. Ziggy had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his beloved granddaughter, Emily. Including his wife, Patricia, of 52 years, Ziggy leaves behind his daughters, Kim Keparutis; Becky Morton, and her husband, Robbie; and Katie Keparutis; his granddaughter, Emily; his siblings, Genia Staneski; Alan Keparutis and his wife Merry; Bruno Keparutis and his wife MaryJane; and Irene Dearstyne and her husband David; sister in law, Suzanne Keparutis; his brother in law, Walter Carrington; a cousin, Regina Bush; nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Leo Keparutis. Due to the pandemic, services will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made in Ziggys name to American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
