Family, Friends and Golf Northfield- Mr. Wayne Mowrey, 65, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Mowrey, his daughter, Amy Safran of Chester and his son Michael Mowrey of Northfield; their spouses Andrew Safran and Dawn Mowrey and grandchildren, Benjamin, Allison, Tyler and Jordan. He also leaves behind his mother, Maude Faivre Harris, brothers, Gary F Mowrey (twin brother), Craig E. Mowrey and Alan "Chip" Mowrey; Sisters, Rhea C. Sanford, Beth A. Machado and Joyce E. Mowrey and their families. His father Frederick F. Mowrey, Jr predeceased him. Wayne was born at St. Marys Hospital on September 19, 1944 and devoted his life to caring for others. He earned his RN at Waterbury Hospital and CRNA at Memorial Mission Hospital School of Anesthesia in Asheville, North Carolina. He retired in April after working for fifty years in the medical field in the Waterbury area.
