Thomaston - Mrs. Audrey G. (Garrett) Welch, 94, of Thomaston, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of George W. Welch. Audrey was born on March 12, 1918 in Bristol, daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Swift) Garrett. She was the secretary of the Associated Spring and retired after 20 years of service. Audrey was a former member of the Calvary Advent Christian Church in Bristol. Audrey is survived by her two sons; Brian C. Welch and his wife, Sandi, of Thomaston, and Bruce Welch and his wife, Anita, of Haughton, Louisiana; one sister, Priscilla Landry of Southington; four grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Arrangements: Private burial will take place in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Plymouth. There are no calling hours.
