Plymouth Mrs. Carole F. (Lukosavage, Brasche) Lukos, 87, formerly of Thomaston, passed away Saturday evening, November 23, at Cook-Willow Convalescent Home. She was the widow of Paul Rossini.
Carole was born November 3, 1937, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Ida Poggi. Raised in Watertown, she attended local schools and graduated from Watertown High School. She was a proud graduate of St. Marys School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at St. Marys and Waterbury hospitals as well as in home care.
She is survived by her children, Laura A. Westby and her husband Kie, Michael J. Brasche and his wife Bridgette, and Terri Lerner and her husband Dr. Charles Lerner; six grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Michael, Danielle, Erin and Megan; and two great-grandchildren, Liana and Braden. She was predeceased by her brother, John Lukosavage.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 29 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Friends may visit with Caroles family from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marys Hospital Foundation.
