Torrington - Mrs. Colleen Rose (Coneita) Guarnieri, 80, died on Sunday evening, September 11, at Cherry Brook Healthcare Center in Canton. She was the widow of Raymond J. Guarnieri, Sr. 'Mrs. G.', as she known to many, was born September 11, 1936 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late George and Marguerite (OConnell) Coneita. She worked for many years as a crossing guard in Torrington and enjoyed doing crafts. She is survived by two sons, Raymond J. Guarnieri, Jr. and his wife, Sarah of New Hartford and Robert P. Guarnieri and his wife, Pauline of Manchester; one daughter, Rose Guarnieri and partner, Randal Tait of Osceola, Iowa; one brother, David G. Coneita and his wife, Gail of Bristol; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements: A private graveside service will be held at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Thomaston.
