She was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, offering her time and heart to her congregation. Diane lived a meaningful life, embracing every step of the way with joy and purpose. She grew up as a second generation Polish-American enjoying polka dancing, where she met many great friends throughout the years. Diane met the love of her life, Armand Roy, at Ocean Beach during the annual Polkabration. Their nearly thirty year love story was filled with music, laughter, and deep devotion to one another. She is survived by her loving husband, Armand Roy; her mother, Theresa (Tessie) Miecznikowski; her daughter, Kimberly, and her husband, Joseph J. Granitto.
