Thomaston Mrs. Dorothy Ann (Benbemski) Paczkowski, 100, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, at her home. She was the widow of Joseph Paczkowski. Dorothy was born March 10, 1920 in Terryville, daughter of the late John and Helen (Nowicki) Benbemski. She was a member of the Thomaston Seniors, the Polish National Association "PNA" and was a long time active parishioner of St. Thomas Church. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Joan Carlson and her husband Paul of Bantam; Barbara Ball of Bantam and Dorothy Lane of Chicopee, MA; one sister, Frances Touart of FL; four grandchildren Luke, Diana, Joseph and Kimberly and eight great-grandchildren. A private committal service will be held in the St. Thomas Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on a date and time to be announced.
