Thomaston - Mrs. Eileen M. (Willefsky) Gerdauskas, 95, of Thomaston, passed away on Friday, July 18 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Mr. Walter Gerdauskas. Eileen was born on August 12, 1918 in Winsted, daughter of the late John and Lena (Heacox) Willefsky. Eileen retired from Timex Corp. after many years of employment and thoroughly enjoyed those years with her husband and family. Eileen was a lifelong resident of Waterbury until 2001, at which time she moved to Thomaston and was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Eileen is survived by her two sons, Walter Gerdauskas of Waterbury, and Francis Gerdauskas and his wife, Gerry of Thomaston; her daughter, Carol Telesca of Torrington; her grandchildren, Karen Gerdauskas Rogers and her husband Paul, Pamela Gerdauskas Konareski and her husband Ray, Theresa TelescaMigaldi and her husband Michael, Thomas (TJ) Telesca and his wife Wendy, Shannon Gerdauskas & Brandon Gerdauskas; seven great-grandchildren, Kyle and Cody Rogers, Katie, Braden & Chloe Konareski, and Jillian & Julie Telesca; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Willefsky, her daughter-in-law, Sheila Gerdauskas and son-in-law, Thomas Telesca. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 E. Main St., Thomaston. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. At the request of the family, there are no calling hours.
