Thomaston- Mrs. Elaine (Parker) Curtiss, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, at her home surrounded by her family and beloved cat Lila. She was the widow of Robert Curtiss. Mrs. Curtiss was born March 5, 1935 in Thomaston, daughter of the late George and Katherine (Leonard) Parker Sr. She had been employed for many years at the Torrington Company and was an active member of St. Peters Trinity Church where she was a member of the ECW Group and the Altar Guild. She is survived by her sisters, Claudia Allen of GA and Diana McGoldrick of Thomaston; her brother, George Parker Jr of MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Parker. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 17, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
