In Loving Memory of Eleanor Chizinski. Eleanor Chizinski, age 97, of Thomaston, CT, passed away peacefully at her home on April 15, 2025, surrounded by family and love. Born on December 22, 1927, Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She married Chester Chizinski on December 7, 1947, and together they shared 66 wonderful years, building a life and raising their family in Thomaston. Eleanor had a passion for cooking, quilting, bridge, and playing cards with friends. She is survived by her children Elaine McEachern and Tim (Ellen) Chizinski, brother Peter (Jennifer) Rogozinski, daughter-in-law Joann Chizinski, grandchildren Kelly, Matthew, Jennifer, Andrew and Jeffery, and great granddaughters Annalise, Madelyn, Scarlet and Sadie. She was predeceased by her husband Chester, sons Jeffrey and Paul, and grandson Nicholas. The family would like to thank Eileen Houlihan who lovingly cared for Ellie. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Thomaston Volunteer Corps or Thomaston Community Pantry in her honor.
