Northfield Emma R. Wootton, 81, passed away on September 6, 2018. She was the wife of the late Gerald R. Wootton, who passed away on September 26, 2007. Emma was born in Torrington on August 31, 1937, daughter of Lucio and Irma (Rocca) Crameri. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and loved watching PGA Golf. Emma is survived by her son, Duane Wootton, and his wife, Jennifer, of Torrington; her daughter, Lynn Wootton, of Alaska; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Including her husband Gerry, Emma was predeceased by her daughter, Colleen Swartz; her brother, Thomas Crameri; and her sisters, Dolores Kennedy; and Irma Wootton. A very heartfelt thanks to Mark Shapiro, a loving cousin who was very near and dear to Emma. A calling hour will be held on Monday, September 10 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. A Funeral mass will follow at St. Thomas Church for 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
