Thomaston- Mrs. Gertrude (Bradshaw) Barth, 93, formerly of Atwood Rd., died Tuesday evening, September 27, at Laurel Hill Health Care in Winsted. She was the widow of Thomas W. Barth, Sr. Gertrude was born March 22, 1918 in Walden, New York daughter of the late William and Catherine (Whalen) Bradshaw. Raised in Thomaston she attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School and was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. She is survived by four daughters, Linda Clark of Litchfield, Diane Mosimann of Norfolk, Nicki Lawson of Morris and Candace Barth of Torrington; one sister, Dorothy Gibbons of Watertown; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Thomas W. Barth, Jr. The family would like to thank the staffs of Laurel Hill health care and Vitas Hospice for the loving care provided to their mother. Arrangements: A private graveside service will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
