Boynton Beach, FL - Mrs. Gisele M. "Gigi" (MSadoques) Welton, 71, formerly of Thomaston, died Sunday, December 1, at her home. She was the widow of Earl C. Welton, Jr.
Mrs. Welton was born July 9, 1942 in Odonak, Canada, daughter of Lena (Baribeau) MSadoques of Boynton Beach and the late Paul E. MSadoques. Raised in Waterbury, Gisele attended local schools and was a graduate of Croft High School. She was employed by the VNA Healthcare of Waterbury for 32 years. Gisele was a member of the First Congregational Church of Thomaston and a member of the Wednesday Night Bible Study Group and the Womans Fellowship Group. She will be remembered for her love of doing crafts, knitting, reading and gardening. She moved to Florida one and a half years ago.
In addition to her mother she is survived by one son, Paul C. Welton and his wife Annmarie of Thomaston; her daughter, Lisa M. Berent and her husband David of Boca Raton, FL; two brothers, Andre J. MSadoques and his wife Karen of Southington and Roger MSadoques and his wife Renee of Boynton Beach, FL; one sister, Francine Orodeckis and her husband Edward of Cherry Hills, NJ; four grandchildren, Caleb, Brendan, Lydia and Conor and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 11:00 A.M. at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. A celebration of her life will follow on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at the First Congregational Church of Thomaston. Calling hours will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
