Thomaston Mrs. Helen (Baker) Sanderson, 75, passed away on Friday, February 10, at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of John R. Sanderson, Jr. Helen was born August 4, 1941 in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Mefford) Baker. In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by one son, Jeffrey R. Sanderson of Bristol; one daughter, Jennifer L. Russo and her husband James of Thomaston; two brothers, Earl Baker and Philip Baker, both of TN; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and six nephews. Arrangements: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church of Thomaston. Burial will be private.
