Plymouth- Mrs. Isabel L. (Fowler) Sinkler, 85, formerly of Thomaston and Terryville died Friday, June 24, at Cook Willow Health Center. She was the widow of Claudius Sinkler.
Mrs. Sinkler was born April 28, 1926 in Waterbury daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Taylor) Fowler. She had retired form the Torrington Company in Thomaston after working for many years as an inspector. She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and had worked in its thrift store, was a member of the Cook Willow Tones Singing Group, a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and enjoyed watching the UCONN womens basketball team.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Sinkler of Waterbury and Diane Sinkler of Thomaston and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, at 12:00 Noon at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Terryville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
