Obituary

Thomaston - Mrs. Jane (Tycenski) Krulicki, 93, of Thomaston, passed away on Friday, May 06, 2016 at Litchfield Woods in Torrington. She was predeceased by her husband Mr. Stanley Krulicki who she was married to for 59 years. Jane was born on February 14, 1923 in Thomaston, daughter of the late Alexander and Anna (Waleska) Tycenski. A lifelong Thomaston resident, Jane attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She worked as a secretary at Hallden Machine Co. for a number of years until her retirement. Jane enjoyed a good meal, reading, gardening, and cheering on the UConn Womens Basketball team. She will always be remembered as a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Thomas Church, The Legion Womens Auxiliary, and the Thomaston Seniors. Jane is survived by her two daughters, Christine Boccardi (Richard) and Elizabeth Durante (Alfred) both of Thomaston; four grandchildren, Jared Boccardi, Garrett Boccardi (Stephanie), Jamie Durante and Jason Durante; sister in law, Helen Tycenski; nieces, Aimee Keough, and Patricia Mastro; and several other nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Teofil, Steven, Edward, Helen, Edna, and Mary. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St., Thomaston. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janes name to St. Thomas Church, 19 Electric Ave., Thomaston, CT 06787
